Stillwater Township Blanket Sale
Stillwater Township blankets depicting several historic sites in the community are now available through the Stillwater Township Recreation Commission. The blankets are 48" x 68," in stock, and are available in cranberry red, hunter green, navy blue, and Williamsburg blue. The cost for each is $45, and they make wonderful gifts.If you are interested in purchasing one please stop by the Municipal Building, 964 Stillwater Road, or contact Kathy Wunder at (973)383-6332. We only have a limited number of blankets remaining!

2010 Dog License Application

***2010 Dog License Applications will be available on the website and at the Municipal Building after January 1, 2010***

***Late fees of $2.00 per month will be charged after the January 31, 2010 deadline***

A Note from the Tax Collector

Tax bills are mailed out once a year, usually in July; taxes are due Feb. 1, May 1, Aug. 1, and Nov. 1. Each quarter has a 10-day grace period, and interest accrues after the grace period, from the due date. Added Assessment bills for improvements are mailed out in early October each year and are due Nov. 1st.  If you should have any questions, you may reach the Tax Collector at (973)383-9484.

***Please note that the tax bills will be mailed out mid-August and you will have 25 days from the date of mailing to pay your taxes.

Miss Stillwater 2010

Gina Orlando

Gina Orlando is 18 years old and attends Kittatinny Regional High School. She is the daughter of Janet and TJ Orlando of Stillwater. She will be attending the University of Pennsylvania in the fall of 2010 majoring in biological basis of behavior working towards a masters and doctorate as a neuropsychologist.. While attending KRHS Gina was a varisty cheerleader and recieved eight varsity letters. She was a class officer for four years, serving two as treasurer and two as vice president. She has been a member of the National Honor Society and is currently vice president. She has served on the Student Council and peer leadership. Gina has participated as a dancer in several of the KRHS musicals. She participated in K3D helping disabled participants enjoy their day at KRHS, and was part of the Wind Symphony and Chamber Choir. Gina has coached young cheerleaders and also coached and choreographed compeititon teams. She is a volunteer with Bridges Outreach Project making over 900 sandwiches for the homeless, and Project Self-Sufficiency helping with community parties and preschool classes. Gina is a volunteer at both SCARC and the First Presbyterian Church of Sparta, assisting with special needs. During the summer Gina provided respite care for a severely disabled teenager. She has maintained high honor roll during every marking period of high school and was the Student of the Month in October 2008. She is an Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholar and the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen. She has been honored with awards from the United States Achievement Academy in Government and History, Cheerleading, and All-American Scholar, Sussex County Senior Art Award for Dance, and Scholar Athlete from the Kittatinny Cougar Club. She recieved the Coach's Award for cheerleading and was a four-time Universal Cheerleading Association All-American Cheerleader, and small varisty champion at the National Cheerleading Association Big Apple Championship in New York City. In her spare time, Gina likes to read and watch movies. Congratulations and good luck to Gina Orlando at the Queen of the Fair Contest to be held in August at the Sussex County Fairgrounds......Stillwater is certainly well represented!

Katie Emma Williver

Katie Williver is 5 years old and is the daugher of Tom and Cheryl Williver of Stillwater. Katie enjoys school, playing soccer, playing with her sister and friends and she loves to read. Katie also loves to play Wii and Memory games, and usually wins! She loves the beach and building sand castles, and is a member of the Synchronized Swim Team. She is looking forward to going into first grade in the fall and is excited to learn new things every day. Congratulations Katie!

Cooper Waldo

Cooper Waldo is 7 years old and is the son of Justin and Robin Waldo of Stillwater. Cooper loves living in Stillwater because of all the good citizens who live here. He also likes the nature, sports and wildlife. He likes going to school and thinks everything in Stillwater is very nice! Congratulations Cooper!
